We offer a high-quality curriculum called the 'Smart Learn Program' for all different age groups. This program aims to help all children get ready for school while developing essential skills. Our team focuses on several learning areas based on the learning outcomes and pedagogies in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the quality areas in the National Quality Standards (NQS).
Our Smart Learn Program incorporates:
This area is crucial for shaping children's behaviour and manners before attending school. We support children in developing a sense of sharing resources, taking turns, using polite language, and learning about empathy and a range of other useful skills.
We plan and implement a wide variety of experiences and activities to develop children's literacy (e.g., recognising letters, writing their own names, and verbal communication) and numeracy (e.g., using numbers to solve problems such as counting and measuring objects, as well as comparing the sizes, colours, and patterns of different objects in real life).
By engaging in various creative arts activities, children learn different life skills such as investigating, fine-motor coordination, problem-solving, and hypothesising via drawing, painting, and hand-craft experiences.
Home and music corners are designed to help children connect their real-life experiences with play activities such as dress-ups, pretend play, and cooking. Young children are also more likely to respond to music by singing along and making body movements.
Young children learn how to use IT tools like computers and tablets as a method of exploring basic science concepts.
At Little Bunnies Preschool, we value families' involvement and feedback regarding our plans, programs, and daily routines.
Our families can easily access our learning programs, daily journals, and monthly observations of their children from a smartphone app called 'My Family Lounge'. Families receive notifications once journals and information are published. We also encourage families to provide feedback and suggestions on how we can further improve our practices to better support the children at our service.
